About
I’m a 30 year old front end flash interface and games designer from London and based in Leeds UK.
I revel in creating enjoyable digital experiences whether its an award winning game or engaging, quirky, and playful interface work. I love making the ordinary delightful.
Since 1999 I’ve used computers and technology to output my creativity. Digital opportunities have grown and the online space is more exciting than ever so I’ve no intention of stopping. I’m a bit of a renaissance man and like to get my hands dirty with all types of technologies I believe they are a means to deliver an idea or concept. Originally graduating in an art background (meaning I’m handy with Photoshop, After effects, 3DS Max and spent far too much time on storyboards) I also picked up an interest in Director and Flash from early in their life cycle.
I am comfortable with OOP structures and programmed AS1 prototypes right through to AS3. I have commercial experience using extended frameworks such as AIR, Papervision 3D, Flade, box2dflash and APE physics engines, Tweenlite, Fuse, Tweener, and recently Multitouch.fi multitouch screen API, demos of which you can see here.
I’ve played around with Fixel, Unity 3D, and too many engines and apis to mention.
Good ideas make the world go round so I’m always up for collaboration and banter via hi@jeffmadriaga.com this process is extra enjoyable over a fine glass of rum and coke.
